Turbotax becomes especially easy if you use it in consecutive years because much of your information transfers from one year to the next, making completing and filing your taxes VERY easy.
What's great about it: Easy to understand. Easy to use

makes it very easy with questions, etc., after you get all the numbers pulled together to find the correct forms, et. al.
e-filing is very simple as well.
what used to take 2 days to grind thru only takes about 4 hours now.

It is great not to have to compute all the details, so that you can focus on the big picture of making sure you take all the correct dedcutions, credits and tax liabilities
What's great about it: It knows all the forms and tables
What's not so great: W2 import missed some data from last year's return

Turbo Tax is my SHINING STAR! I can file my taxes any time of the day or night and Turbo tax reminds me of any problems AND rates my return. I can't imagine filing my taxes any other way!!
What's great about it: You lead me through the tides of tax.

More anxious moments

Flows relatively smoothly, but I had an additional tax liability associated with 2011 return for missed "income" reports.
Your records in form 2210 reflected a "carryover"? Had a difficult time with that, trying to understand what needed to be in this years return. Trying to complete this the last day before due...Should start sooner, lot of stress associated with corrections to prior returns, and how they impact this one.
Feedback from the fed. that I did not have to revise 2011, just
pay the liability and they would correct the record.
Have been using TT since 2007.

What's great about it: Good guidence process, quick back up for revisions / corrections,much better than I am.
What's not so great: A little difficult geting to some of the back up calculation forms.

Just one problem....maybe

I'm not absolutely sure.....but it sure feels like there was an automatic error on my return this year. This came to light only after quite a bit of time spent trying to figure out why a particular number was doubled on form 8889. I finally went to the form itself and found that there was a duplication of numbers....the same number that appeared on line 12b W was shown again on the line that is for showing contributions made in 2014 for tax year 2013. I really can't imagine that I would have put this number there. So, please check this little area of the program.
If I had not noticed it, my state tax refund would have been cut in half! Thanks.
