I noticed this year that I had to wait for the sales tax form to be completed this year. I also opted for an e-mail when this form was made available. I never got the e-mail. I decided I had waited long enough and decided to go ahead with my return. That is when I noticed that the form was entered. Otherwise, we have always been happy with the use of Turbo Tax. We have used it for years. I always feel confident that we have filed a solid return and that I am getting back my maximum refund.
What's great about it: The quick and easy step by step interview process
What's not so great: Not having all forms ready and completed well before taxes are due

bought disc at store and now last year online is trying to make me pay again even though i have the disc. all the way to the end and not sure what is going on. hestitate since i already entered bank information.
What's great about it: guides you through
What's not so great: will not tell you what you have
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Am I Seeing Bugs?

There's a bug somewhere. My 2012 return disappeared from Turbo 2012 -- had to start 2013 return from scratch. Another return, for Taxpayer A, transferred from 2012, when opened contained return information for Taxpayer B. Had to start 2013 return for Taxpayer A from scratch. Taxpayer B -- after 2013 return was completed, saved and filed -- pulled up return again and all data was gone -- will have to recreate return.

What's great about it: Quick, easy for a layperson to understand, thorough
What's not so great: Lost data from 2012 and 2013 completed returns

Will definitely continue to use Turbo Tax in the future
What's great about it: In general, filing was fairly easy
What's not so great: There could be clearer instructions when filing multiple states.

Failed to E-file despite loading updates

What's great about it: Seemed fine until the end
What's not so great: Would not e-file because of updates; downloaded updates but still would not e-file

TurboTax-I'll never go back to paper!

I have used TurboTax for years. Love the simplicity and accuracy! Also, love the free e-filing for Federal Returns. The inclusion of It's Deductible is also a great benefit and really helps if you donate items to charity. The clothing section is pretty straight forward and makes is very easy to value your donations with confidence. However some sections, especially toys are lacking, very popular toys and games or anything comparable don't exsist. This section is in great need of an overhaul, that would add a lot to the program. Thanks for a great product
What's great about it: Complete, accurate and carries over information from previous years
What's not so great: It's Deductible is a great benefit, but needs updating
