Love my TurboTax

I have done my taxes myself for many years, but for the last 4-5 years I have used TurboTax. It is so user friendly and you can trust the information rather than researching items at the IRS website yourself. I will be a turboTax user as long as I am filing federal tax returns. See you next year.
What's great about it: Like the way it will take you thru the steps or let you go back and select what you want to work on at that moment
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

With TurboTax I can prepare my taxes in a couple of hours where it used to take me all day.
Love the importation of data from one year to the next.
Saves so much time.

No more chicken-scratch forms. My returns are crisp and clean and look very professional. The support documents are extremely helpful also.
What's great about it: Cut my tax prep time by 50%. Very intuitive.
What's not so great: No complaints other than a free State E-File would be nice.

Resident of State without taxes

Easy to use yet thorough.
If you live in a state without taxes its annoying to keep being asked to purchase the state version.

Another Year Done!!

I have been using Turbo Tax to do my taxes for several years now. They make it very easy to file by asking easy to understand questions. I just don't think it can get any easier!

Good but somewhat confusing in parts

I had to call the person who handles my annuity to find out how much the amount taken out for a requirement after 70 1/2 from my annuity income. It's slow to itemize donation deductions but on the other hand it's easy to look item up for value. All in all I am pretty happy with turbotax. Also confused by pin, called the number and was told that the amount of last years AGI can be used as a pin.
What's great about it: walks you through everything
What's not so great: asked for what part of my retirement income was taken for required amount after 70 1/2 that info not on any statement

Best ever

Years ago the business office assistant at my job used to do our tax returns for a modest fee. When she retired, I said, "Who'll do my taxes now?" She said, "I use Turbo Tax." I went right out and bought it and haven't looked back.
What's great about it: Always accurate and easy to use!
