Defeat from the jaws of victory

I entered all my K-1 data verbatim. Four times i deleted and reentered the data to ensure that i did not make a mistake. Each time TurboTax provided me the same error statement with no help in resolving the error. I tried everything. From the help function I found several people who had the same problem and their solution was lie to the program to clear the error. Without this lie it was impossible to transmit the return that I know was correct. Very disappointing, to say the least. I will definitely consider a different tax program next year.
What's great about it: TurboTax has provided me continuity in my taxes for years
What's not so great: TurboTax failed me this year on a simple form, the K-1
Pros: I bought or sold investments

It's Over until next year

I used a different computer then all my other Turbo tax returns.
For some reason- it couldn't retrieve my previous information which it should if I am connected to Turbo tax.

What's great about it: Gives thorough explanations
What's not so great: The State edition- had additions that were not supported w/little information

Missing something

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now, but looking back through the error check, I noticed some of the details are missing. The saved personal history from the prior year and the easy step-by-step is great. But the "fix errors" function has no way to lead you back to that part of the return with the error. Very frustrating to fish...
What's great about it: Relatively quick
What's not so great: Details are missing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax continues to put out a consistently good product. Easy to learn, easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use, consistent with how it worked last year.
What's not so great: Needed to reload bank information for state refund

Another bites the dust

It’s consistent, remembers last year's info, right down to the bank account info. No retyping. Just wish I could get my W2's to down load; maybe next time. At least I got my brokerage info to download (saved me about 2 hours of keying)
What's great about it: easy to move back and forth between tasks; explanations were easier to understand
What's not so great: Didn't do auto update when I first installed app
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

As always, Turbo Tax shines in making the Tax filing process smooth and easy for this New England family.
Handled tuition details for two kids in college.
LOVE the smarts that Turbo Tax has to remember previous year's results.
I'll use Turbo Tax next year, guaranteed!
What's great about it: tomatic carryover and monitoring of Long Term Cap. loss carryover
What's not so great: Should be able to add Tags to fields with personal annotated comments
