This is the simplest and most conscientious review of taxes for the layman that I can imagine. If it got any easier I'd think something was wrong. This is Turbo-Fast, Turbo-Efficient, Turbo-Easy. I'm done!

It's a daunting task, doing your own taxes, but with TurboTax, the pile of forms and receipts you have been squirreling away all year dwindle quickly with every click of <continue>! You already know the answer to every question it asks, so why NOT let TurboTax help you through it!
What's great about it: Took me step-by-step from a pile of papers to a refund!
What's not so great: Wish it would give me pre-prearation checklist, so I had everything I needed when I sat down to do my taxes

10 Years of Turbo Tax

The graphics and feel of some of the older versions seemed more personal and as mentioned, I miss the Fortune magazine contributors and their audio clips.
Turbo Tax is still very much my "Go To" software, but this year I found the box numbers did not line up for my military 1099 R. I went back and checked thinking I had made an incorrect selection, but I could not find the solution.

What's great about it: Pretty straight forward guidance even if you don't have a lot of tax experience.
What's not so great: I miss the previous Fortune magazine personalities and their embedded audio advice.

I've used Turbo Tax for 3 years. I have been satisfied with the process. It is fairly easy to use. I would like the option of printing a blank tax return and forms prior to completing my online tax return. It makes it easier to feel confident that information is placed correctly.
What's great about it: cost; navigating back and forth between sections for review and/or amending
What's not so great: Always a question..."Did I miss something?"

I have used Turbo Tax for over 14 years. It is easy to use and we generally don't miss a deduction.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Sometime can't find topic I need help with
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
