There were changes up to the last minute. This should not be an issue. Tax law should be set in stone prior to the end of the "current" tax year. Don't know if this is a Turbo-Tax issue or Federal/State Government issue.
What's great about it: Liked the prompts for the tax walkthrough
What's not so great: Some of the "state" info was a bit "fuzzy". Can't define further than that.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for several/many years and though it moved along well, the transitions were much better in prior years. Unable to go to a specific deduction, when I needed to edit specific items.
What's great about it: Moved along well, but when adding another item or changing to spouse, I was listing items for the wrong person, not a go
What's not so great: Didn't like the difficulty in going back to a specific item and edit the item.
Pros: I moved

A Yearly Terror

I have several 1099-R incomes from one source. It is extremely uncomfortable for me to type the same information, especially since the font is small (fix that!), in each form. Is there some simple way to create a template that I can simply copy and paste from form to form after completing the template once? Perhaps, something like a "master" form?
I had to make some simple corrections but it was annoying to go through the parts of forms that didn't change.
What's great about it: efiling is great; I didn't have to go to a post office (along with hundreds of others who come by car.
What's not so great: see below

Overall it was a good experience. Yearly summaries and comparisons are also helpful double check tools.
What's great about it: Interview approach, support screens, ability to switch to forms if required, summary reports
What's not so great: Had one error when calculating capital gains, asked the question twice and added both answers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
