For over 25 years....

Yes, I have been using Turbo Tax for over 25 years and it just gets better every year.
I am able to do everything I need to do with the deluxe version and it really helps me with my taxes.

What's great about it: Flexible, reliable, intuitive and easy to use
What's not so great: Some areas that are hard to get out of and to reverse

problems downloading turbotax disk

bad timing with Windows not supporting older versions as of 4/8/14 downloading disk on Windows XP- spent over needed time to file with problems in accepting download- worst year having a difficulty with downloading. caused massive research to correct problems with error codes occuring @ time of download.
What's great about it: able to correspond any questions to help menu
What's not so great: difficulty with download on WindowsXP

Easy Breezy!!!!

I have been using Turbo Tax Software for more than five years and it seems to get quicker and easier to use. Some of these years, I had simple returns with one income and other years with multiple jobs, home mortgage interest and "income" from settlements. No matter what the situation, Turbo Tax has been easy to use. I especially like the option of saving while you go as sometimes, I find I am missing a document while I'm in the middle of filing taxes.
What's great about it: If You're Not Sure of An Item Deduction or Expense, Quick Help Screens Appear Along The Way
What's not so great: Software Will Ask You To File A State Return Whethe You Have To Or Not...May Make A Novice Taxpayer Paranoid

It would be much easier to enter the address on the charitable deductions while entering the values and dates. Touch it once and move on. This probably cost me two hours to go back and verify this information. It would also be helpful if there were a caution at the start of this section indicating the addresses needed to be on hand for entry with the list of items.
What's great about it: Still works well.
What's not so great: Charitable Deductions needs some work.

I've Used Turbotax since its begining

I've used TurboTax since it first came out, it has been so long ago that I'm not sure of the year. I do know that I've tried comparisons with its biggest competitor and TurboTax wins my vote hands down each time and each year I do my taxes on both and it is always easier to understand and complete using TurboTax. I especially like the hold your hand approach to doing your own taxes. If you are unsure what the program is asking, there is always a help page just one click away. With all the changes to the tax laws each year, that can be a time saver. My biggest problem in not doing my taxes during the January or early February time frame is because of untimely receipt of tax documents, not TurboTax. I highly recommend TurboTax to anyone wanting to try their hand at preparing their own taxes. It even tells you the documents you'll need to do this.
