Very Poor Service

Tried e-filing many times. Would not work, even after many updates. Probably will consider other companies next year.

2013 Fed & State Return

I have used Turbo tax for years and its a good product. Seems like Intuit is always trying to improve the process however difficult out Government makes it.
What's great about it: Asked all the important questions & suggestions
What's not so great: Taxes are a pain in the you know what but thats not your falt.

overall good, usually easy to navigate. like the help topics although some are still to vague. Going back to a previous page is not always easy, sometimes the program goes too far back. I keep trying to import financials and previous files but doesn't seem to work, maybe it's just me.
What's great about it: easy to navigate, like the option to go through on my own or use the guide.
What's not so great: continuos updates and request for information on log on. hard to go back to a previous page

Pretty solid product

When entering info for my HSA 1099-SA, please wait to adjust tax liability until after the appropriate check box is selected to say how the funds were used. If 100% of the funds distributed in box 1 were for qualifying medical expenses, then there is no tax on those funds. Don't calculate the tax and then back it out. Wait until the appropriate check box is checked before calculating (or not).

What's not so great: Saw tax liability go up befor completing 1099-SA info

Money, Money, Money

For the past five years, Turbo Tax has put money back in our pockets, keeping our audit level low, and they have provided all the information needed to answer all of our questions. I couldn't be happier with this product as it's helped us understand where our money goes, and why it comes back to us.
What's great about it: Simple and Easy to Use.

Another year with Turbotax, and I can't imagine doing my taxes any other way... Great interview interface, great help features... and the import report feature saved me a few hours on my capital gains portion!
What's great about it: intuitive interfaces, great explanations when help is req'd
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
