Wish would add married 2 states one set of forms

Turbo tax is easy to use except if you have a family situation that is becoming more common. My wife and I work and live in separate states. Which is hard enough, but tax time makes it a little bit tougher. Wish TurboTax could handle this situation automatically or have an easy way to step through the process like it does for normal couples. Having to create a separate "pseudo" MFS return for me and wife add many extra steps. Particularly when all the information is already in our real Federal MFJ return. If TurboTax could handle this as smoothly as it does the rest of my taxes that would kick butt!
What's great about it: Flow is easy - feels like get full deductions
What's not so great: Odd family situations not covered easily - married we live in different states

Gave me wrong info

The instructions about the PIN number to file is incorrect. You must use the PIN the federal government gave you, YOU CAN NOT make up your own. It will reject your return. Then you must try and file again!!! Also IRS doesn't use 1040X if the return is rejected.
What's great about it: the program works wonderfully except...
What's not so great: couldn't print, wrong PIN info

2013 Federal & MN State taxes

Walked through changes in my business status tax requirements. Found deductions for my family I would have never found on my own. I will always use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to use!
What's not so great: Cannot think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for over 15 years with almost no difficulty at all. This year my son finished school and started working full time. Getting answers to my questions was a bit more difficult than I expected.
One little issue over this many years isn't much to complain about. I've been very pleased with this product.

What's great about it: interview process simplifies navigating through IRS documents I wound never be able to get through on my own
What's not so great: somewhat difficult getting answers to specific questions

I loved how everything was so easy to use and that it reviewed last years numbers. Still not sure if there were other ways where we could have gotten more back, but for the most part... we're pleased with Turbo tax as we have been for years and will be in the future! :D

One little improvement....

When TT is asking about state items incl in Fed Sked A that should be additions to state (Oregon) it is not clear whether TT has handled these automatically and if not why not.
What's great about it: Complete forms selectionincl local forms
What's not so great: Not always sure the status of some calculations that are the result of TT questions.
