Always old faithful in helping me with my taxes

I've been using turbo tax for many years, probably close to 20 or so and it has never failed to help me get the most in refunds. My situation has changed over time and I am now retired and trying to function as a s corporation professional. I probably need to upgrade to the business and home edition for next year. I do have the business edition and separately the personal tax edition. Maybe I need to combine them.

What's great about it: Helped me tremendously with my new s corporation
What's not so great: I still ended up owing tax but I now know all the categories of expenses that I need to keep track of
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax 2013

I did not feel my taxes were completed as thoroughly as in the past. At one point, a reference was made to Arizona residents in the State filing, and I am an ALABAMA resident. I am just hopeful they were properly completed. I am somewhat uneasy about filing this year. There were several places that did not address the sections as I thought they should, but it is late now and I cannot search them out.
What's great about it: Somewhat easy to maneuver.
What's not so great: This year's software did not seem as detailed and thorough as in years past. I did not find the "safe" deduction average

2013 Review

Great as always and every year it seems to get easier and easier...
But...
This year, I owed taxes for the first time in a decade...program was not supportive in providing info on how to make installments or file for an extension until AFTER I hit the electronic file button. The HELP menu on the subject of installment payments or payment option was not very helpful or up front. Had to go to the internet as I did not know TurboTax would tell me what I needed to know...until after I had hit the selection to e-file.
Still will use next year but this year was unnecessarily opaque on how to do things (how to pay owed taxes) until the end.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good interface, intuitive on most items.
What's not so great: No indication or help on making tax payments until AFTER I hit the electronic file bottom, then the instructions.

I've been using Turbo Tax for 10 years, used another product for one year, hurried back to Turbo Tax
What's great about it: EasyGuide is/was just that
What's not so great: Fought Password problems... Print forms could be improved
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I use TurboTax every year for my taxes - it is the best way to make sure I've got all of the items listed and it helps to remind me of small details I might forget

Turbo Tax had issue with some step by step screens

Some step by step screens disappeared although we had used them to input information. One example of this is the College information after we had indicated that we took a distribution from a 529 plan for ours son's college. We were given step by step process to enter the college expenses but once that was completed, no matter how many ways we tried we could not go back to these screens. In the forms view we could see that the information had been entered but we could not go back to step by step to review or correct information.
What's great about it: Help
What's not so great: Unable to access corresponding step by step although form that was generated is visible
