First Time on my own

This was the first time that we used this type of product. I was a little scared but as I went along I felt much more comfortable. I also liked that next year will not be as scary since we will be able to use this years as a reference.
What's great about it: Helped with multiple states and extentions where needed
What's not so great: Unable to call on the phone to get assistance.

All I need to know about taxes is buying Turbo tax each year! Tells me which documents to gather for the next step and answered every question I had.

Since I started using TurboTax, I have used it every year. It is much easier than working through the forms and calculations by hand. When calculating by hand, an early error snowballs through the calculations; TurboTax handles such changes automatically. I view any problems as likely changes in the tax laws or changes in what I must include because of changes in income, deductions, etc. I recommended it to my son this year; he went from thinking he owed big time to getting a return.
What's great about it: Much easier that working through the forms and calculations myself.
What's not so great: Really have none.

Turbo Tax Deluxe has and continues to be an excellent program that allows ordinary users to walk through a detailed process for ensuring accurate, and complete tax forms are submitted to federal and state IRS offices. The ease of use and the clear explanation of every aspect of your return is reassuring and permits you to submit your returns with extreme confidence. I am extremely pleased with the ease of use and the continuous review and error correction.
What's great about it: Takes through every step to ensure largest refund
