No other tax tool needed

Been a user forever and find the software just keeps getting better.
What's great about it: I liked the ability to review the forms as well as the guided input
What's not so great: none, efile was even simpler this year

super quick and easy

I would highly recommend Turbo tax to all my family and friends. I put in less than 4 hours from start to finish and I spent most of that sorting thru my receipts and other paperwork.
What's great about it: Showed me where I had errors and helped me quickly fix
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

While we were able to complete our taxes fairly painlessly; however, the e-file took multiple tries as well as multiple trips to the website (where we found multiple similar inquiries…) to figure out the e-filing process! :( We've never had this problem, so whatever changes were made to the program are definitely not helpful.
What's great about it: I love the step by step processing
What's not so great: e-file is not honed

K-1 entries for Box 1,2,3 multiple incomes are difficult to enter.

Problem importing into state return

For some reason W2 information did not import into the State module. Because of this I restarted and renamed the file before I entered the Fed information again.
What's not so great: I had problems importing Fed info into the state return for the first time.

Easy to follow, nice that you can save your work product and come back to it; the carry over feature from year to year is fantastic.
What's great about it: Easy step by step guide to finalizing your tax return

AMENDED RETURN

I AM 81 YEARS OLD AND FAILED TO INCLUDE MY SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME IN MY E-FILED REPORT EVEN THOUGH T TAX SAID EVERY THING WAS CORRECT. I FEEL THAT T TAX SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT THIS ERROR. MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN INDICATOR OF MY AGE AND ALSO FOR MY WIFE WHO IS 81 . I AM DISAPOINTED HAVING USED T TAX FOR MANY YEARS THAT IT COULDN"T HAVE BY NOW BEEN SOPHISTICATED ENOUGH TOI SAVE ME A LOT OF EXTRA TIME AND EXPENSE.
