Overall a great product. I seem to always have some weird problems with fonts each year but there is always a quick solution / fix for it when I go to browse their help section. I have used TurboTax for many years and will continue to do so in the future. It is definitely worth the money to know I am filing correctly with a not only a double, but a triple check running behind me!
What's great about it: Easy to use, I feel comfortable with the knowledge they have gathered in one place to make sure I am doing this right.
What's not so great: Having to pay taxes. :(

Worst taxprogram ever created

I have been using Turbo for over 10 years, this was by far the worst year.First you have a technical problem between the K-1 and schedule D and schedule 8949.. This occurs when you sell your interest in the K-1 (publicly traded companies). The info goes to Box F on form 8949. It should go to Box E. All you need is a statement "Was this security included on your 1099 B" Then it would point to the proper box, Then I had a problem viewing my forms through Turbo, Let me restate I could not view them in Turbo. I had to download them and play around in my C drive before I could access them. Very frustrating.
What's great about it: When I find one I will let you know.
What's not so great: Technical problem with program (see below), Cannot view forms.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

filing instructions for mail filer for state tax

Last year I filed my State returns by mail. I seem to remember seeing guidance and analysis since I had to pay taxes owed. Also there was more information regarding setting up a payment schedule to prevent a similar underpayment situation occurring in 2014. I miss that in this year's version of Turbo Tax

Reliable and Convenient

I enjoy using Turbo Tax. I also like the ITs Deductible software which I use to calculate the value of donated items.
What's great about it: Using Turbo Tax allows me to prepare my taxes when it is convenient for me.

I have used Turbo Tax for 15 years now and I could not imagine doing taxes without it. Married, divorced, remarried, kids in college, real estate purchases...you name it, TurboTax covers it.
What's great about it: Cover every conceivable tax situation
What's not so great: Credit card fees are too high

Turbo Tax imported all of my info from last year. All I had to do was enter my data from this year and file. It was very painless and quick!
