Easy - detailed - carries over one year to next - detailed returns are made easier. Twelve YEAR USER!
What's great about it: SPECIFIC TERMS AND EXPLANATIONS

From First to Worst

After years of using turbo tax and recommending it to others I will not be using it again. If you have tax exempt interest reported on a K-1 that comes from a tax exempt mutual fund turbo tax can not handle your return (This was never a problem in the past) TT lets you enter only 1 state and requires that 1 state be entered. My fund has income from 18 states. I can not type various (TT won't let me) nor can I leave it blank - turbo tax will not e-file. This makes TT useless for people in this situation.
What's great about it: Pulls up data from prior years
What's not so great: Can not correctly complete taxes and e-file due to turbo tax flaw

Keeps Me Sane

I have used Turbo Tax for a long time. It's reasonably priced, easy and finds every possible deduction you can take. You don't have to carry a ton of papers to a tax preparer and you don't have to make an appointment. What more could you ask for?
What's great about it: Guides you step by step you don't have to know anything

What's great about it: Step by step walkthrough very easy
What's not so great: Had to adjut earnings from W2 on allocation worksheet. Employer provided 2 W2s with same repotable income on line 15

Excellent taxes this year

Like TurboTax a lot, can do ours and the kids is always a plus
What's great about it: like being able to do than more 1 set of taxes
What's not so great: would be nice to be able to e-file more than 1 state return at no additional cost

SPECIFICALLYWHEN DECLARING TAXES AS SELF EMLOYMENT IS SOMEWHAT CONFUCIOUS AND THE FORM SELECTED IS NOT CLEARLY DETERINED AND ONE CAN ENEDED UP FILLING THE WRONG ONE, THUS LEADING TO PAYING MORE TAXES OR BEING PENALIZED FOR IT.
What's great about it: Being able to complete it even if there is not accounting background.
What's not so great: Unabe to understand clearly some of the deduction and credit .

not much to say. This program fit my needs for the complexity of my return and price. It really helped.
What's great about it: easy to use
