What's great about it: Walks you through step-by-step in simple terminology
What's not so great: Wish it could tell me up front that I have to settle for the standard deduction

Last Minute Tax Return

Easy step by step process was great. I could file my own taxes in my own home without having to leave the dining room table or get a sitter for my kids! MUCH MUCH cheaper than H&R block! Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Had to find my AGI from 2012 to file :/

Update Run-Around

Works OK, but refused to transmit my e-filing when it would not recognize its own update that was run several times. Finally saved, quit, and restarted the application and it finally worked.
What's great about it: Seems more complete than I'd think of myself.
What's not so great: Failure to recognize its own updates. Intuit executives have no interest in simplifying the tax process.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

filled out w2, left out state withholding and let me finish federal and most state and did not tell me that it was not filled in. Noticed that no refund was coming uip so went back and found error on W2

Simple Task

Easy to complete, I would add a view on the side so one could go back to a particlar part of a section instead of at the start and having to hit continue to get to it.
What's great about it: All you need is a few forms and answer a few questions the rest is done for you.
What's not so great: Going back to one particular part of a section.
