Easier than I thought it would be

Overall, I was very satisfied with Turbo Tax. I have always
taken my taxes to a professional. However, one of my
business associates encouraged me to try Turbo Tax.
I hope I did it correctly and will not be audited. If that is the
case, I 'll be a huge Turbo Tax fan for life!!

What's great about it: Very thorough and good guidelines
What's not so great: Not sure about my medical entries...could use a little more guidance

Awesomely easy!!

I have lost count of how long I have been using TurboTax (other than it used to be called "MacinTax) but now I have a daughter using it. My only job is keeping my papers together and then Turbo Tax easily gets me through both federal & state tax returns. Links on every page where you may need further explanation to your questions make it simple to double-check as you work through the program. I love e-filing too. Thank you, Intuit!
What's great about it: Hand in hand, Turbo Tax walks me through another tax return.

What's not so great: I was unable to get into the state section to print and file by mail. Somehow you showed me filing electronically

Time Saving Tool

Overall, Turbo Tax has simplified my yearly burden of accounting for Small Business and Farm income. As complicated as the individual paper forms are and the constant searches I had to make to find them, Turbo Tax makes the paper disappear. Tax season used to be miserable and mind numbing, resulting in constant anger and frustration. Now I'm only angry, but for other reasons. Time is money and Turbo Tax saves both.
What's great about it: Quickly fill in lengthy confusing forms correctly.
What's not so great: Navigation in some fields is sluggish Could have a subject menu within category to drill into specific forms.

Ups and Downs of 2013 Turbotax

I ran the update and my Mac accepted it, but the program would not validate my return so that it could be e-filed. Intuit should refund the amount of the cost of the program due to its' failure.
What's great about it: Very simple and easily understood
What's not so great: Would not take the update so that I could e-file
