Easy and complete

I have used Turbo Tax for years. I love it. It seems to be so easy, accurate, and complete. I would recommemd it to my friends.
What's great about it: The step by step process is very complete and easy. I love the ease of the charity contribution section as well.
What's not so great: e-filing was a little annoying because of all the extra steps. However, I assume it was needed for electronic signature
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: very simple, good explanations and examples
What's not so great: nothing really... you just have to read quite a bit the first time through

Unusual bad experience

I have used TurboTax for many years and have rarely had any problems even though I file two state returns. This year, however, I was unable to get a good form 40ES for Alabama until March. No real problem, but it was irritating to have to go back several times until this form was available.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Some state forms not ready in early March

Makes doing taxes a breeze. All last years data imported. If you make a mistake or forget something Turbo Tax helps you out.
What's great about it: Very easy to work with. 10th year of use.
What's not so great: none

The 4/15 Review

I had difficulty this year...........and maybe in years past, knowing when I was done with one business' expenses and when I was working with another. I get a 1099 MISC for one org. and a w-2 for another job where I have un-reimbursed expenses......mostly vehicle expenses. My first year of a fair amount of frustration and stress.
What's great about it: The usual: Forms at the finger tip; math done; "auto fill", etc.
What's not so great: Separation of one business income and expenses
