All of the instructions about how to cure the form error failed.
On April 12, 2014 I gave up and installed the program on my wife's laptop and ran the update. Then it worked.

What's great about it: Saves me many rule and calculation tasks
What's not so great: The forms continued to give me the "FORM DO NOT FILE" notice.

Great Tool to Use to File

I use Turbo Tax Deluxe every year and wouldn't think of doing anything differently. I've heard people complaining about doing taxes, but for me it's a breeze.
What's great about it: So easy to follow and you can't make mistakes
What's not so great: None that I can think of

After using Turbo Tax for years, I am going to look for other means next year to file my taxes. This product has gotten more frustrating as the years have passed. Improvements have not made the software better. The need to update a just purchased software package is inexcusable.
What's not so great: Having to update a product after finally completing forms is very frustrating and irritating. I will not be using again.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Usually great, but when you come to a form that does not match Turbo's "boxes" then you're lost. And the FAQs are just more people asking questions. You cannot get to a real person. By sleuthing I got a phone number, but had to go through four different people at four different phone numbers. ugh! that part is terrible. Being a loyal Mac user, of course, I ran into problems when it came time to efile. Last year and the previous years there was no problem. WHY THIS YEAR??!!!!!! when due to life happening all over me I am under the deadline gun. Fiiiiiiinalllllly, finished and efiled. whew! I need some bourbon and a shower.
What's great about it: lots of questions to fill in so you don't have to think up stuff
What's not so great: cannot get to a live person!!!
