Still owe money

It sure would help if the charitable organizations were listed in alphabetical order. It would save time and reduce errors.
What's great about it: I have been using for years just to help me get my records together to take to an account
What's not so great: Too many changes from year to year.

I refuse to pay somebody to do this!

Overall, TurboTax makes it easy to file my taxes. I have been using it for 7 years and haven't had any problems. If I have to get all the information together anyway, why pay somebody else to fill in the blanks?!
What's great about it: It's very easy to follow. I feel confident that I've gotten all the deductions I'm entitled to.

The best feature is that Turbo Tax remembers things like carry-overs from previous years and does all the math and entries needed to make it all happen this year.
However, having to come up with a unique nickname to post a review is absurd!

Not Happy

1. We rent some land for farming and in the past TT put me into putting this number on one line of form 4835. This time it forced me into area for renting houses etc. which I don't believe is correct.
2. We have tax free dividends and I believe these numbers probably made it to a reasonable place, but when I tried to update these numbers from the income page of the interview It just immediately sent me back to the income page.
3. I put in the dollars we had to pay for our local school district income tax and TT showed the same dollars twice on the federal tax form, once for our school district number and again with SDR next to it if I'm remembering right.
4. TT didn't count interest on a Puerto Rico bond as tax free in Ohio.
5. When I tried to print for review, TT couldn't find Adobe reader even though it is in the default location that Adobe selects. So I wasn't able to print (I'm assuming if Adobe had been found I could print from the next page). I had to save the stuff I wanted in a file and go to windows explorer to print.
All of these issues were very frustrating. I've used TT for over 2 decades and the last few years it's seemed to contain more problems every year. I'm not happy.
By the way, this is TurboTax Deluxe.
What's great about it: Interview is mostly easy
What's not so great: Several things didn't work.

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 7 years now. It gets simpler to use every year.
What's great about it: Easy to do, walked me through each section and makes recommendations based upon your entries
What's not so great: Would like a little easier suport to answer questions not covered
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: If you have to change a number Turbo Tax carries the number forward to any neccessary forms
What's not so great: If you "x" a box and continue and then go back the same box is not 'x'd'

Easy Peasy!

I've been using turbo tax for years. I was a little concerned this year because we got married, bought a house, sold a house, and I'm a student so there was a lot going on with our taxes this year. No problem! Sailed right through all of the forms, taxes filed and payment sent just in time!
What's great about it: Walks you through everything!
