I like being able to work in segments and Turbo Tax keeps all of the information in order!

Excellent Product

I have used Turbo Tax for about 20 years and it has always worked great for me and all you have to do is follow directions and you can e-file very easily. I have recommended this to everyone who takes their taxes to an accountant.
What's great about it: never been audited

As always, Turbo Tax did a great job. I especially like the advice for the next year. It is very convenient to be able to import information from last year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, got taxes done quickly
What's not so great: Some of the questions don't exactly fit my situation

Not So Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have found it easy to use until this year. I had a rental property that qualified as a primary residence (2 out of 5 year rule) when I sold it in 2013. I felt like Turbo Tax did not do a good job directing me on how to record this transaction. I believe I eventually worked it through, but only because I do have some past knowledge of tax preparation.
What's great about it: Easy to prepare simple return
What's not so great: Not so straight forward with one-time event

Told I could not e-file until I downloaded new changes. Did that and it still would not let me e-file for the same reason.
Lost all the money for the cost of e-filing which I could not do.
What's great about it: does a good job of calculating

I would like the list of charities in the Deduction section to remain in whatever order I select initially until I change it. E.g., alphabetically.
