Been using this software for several decades now and it has worked well for me over all those years.
What's great about it: Ease of filling in tax data
What's not so great: Price has risen quite a bit over the years.

Feeling good-ish

It's a good product. I've used it for years. I appreciate the ability to do my own taxes; without a product like this, it would be pretty hard for me to do very well. It also is better for me than other products as it tends to explain things in more basic terms. It could be even more basic for me. For instance, there are still terminologies in the explanations that I suspect have a specific definition in the tax world that doesn't match my understanding of the terms. Too basic beats not basic enough every time.
What's great about it: Previous return data transferred, pretty good explanations
What's not so great: no facility for supplemental information for tax reviewers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Tax World!

Turbo Tax is a god send. It makes doing the old tax preparation drill actually enjoyable. Versus the old traditional ways of using the post office.
What's great about it: The ease of having each deduction section displayed for your input. Fast and easy!
What's not so great: Some ares were confusing regarding investments.

Filing with Turbo Tax is so easy....The most important thing is to trust in Turbo Tax that they will really help you with your taxes and the filing and everything will work out fine. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and have never had a problem.........

Another Great Tax Filing Year for TT Software

Keep all your receipts filed and use an accounting program like Quicken to expedite collecting all your records to input into TT. After that it is a breeze.
What's great about it: Ease of use & simple step-by-step process
What's not so great: Normal preparation - collecting all the records together.
