Time to Breathe

This is the 10th year I have been using Turbo Tax and I am never disappointed. I know there are other programs out there, but I think I'll stay put. Thanks.
What's great about it: I felt like someone was sitting next to me walking me through my taxes.
What's not so great: I would like an easy way to jump between summary pages: ie income vs deductions

Turbo tax is superb. However, I tried importing my last year's income tax report to this year's but I can't locate it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax was not able to incorporate last year's return, which I found created more problems than I expected, such as depreciation histories. I believe this failure was because of a disk crash in the intervening year, although the hard drive had been restored from a back-up. There was a .pdf of of last year's return on the machine, and although TurboTax indicated that it could work from that, it did not do so.

Always counting on TurboTax

This is my 7th year using TurboTax. Except for the little glitch (e-filing from a Mac), I always feel relieved when my taxes are done with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Almost everything
What's not so great: Glitch with efiling from my Mac

Stress reliever!

Although I gripe about the cost, it was well worth it. It was an easytrip through all the questions and translated them in to a language easy to understand.

two things that would help

Everything worked well with two exceptions: 1) Intuit doesn't provide an email receipt showing the price paid for the TurboTax software. I did get an email stating when I would be charged. So to get the Tax prep deduction I had to research what bank account I paid for TurboTax with and look up the transaction. 2) When e-filing it stated there was a SW update required. I applied it and tried to e-file and it gave the same error message. There was no message about needing to exit and restart TurboTax, which was all it needed for e-file to work. Please add this suggestion prior to stating if you continue to have problems you need to send your return by Postal mail.
