I like the convenience of doing taxes with Turbo Tax. I don't have to go any other place than my home and when asked for some forms or info such 1099-INT, I just have to look in my file drawer. It is so handy doing the taxes at home and digging for my supporting papers also at home.

the process of entering tax info is good. the reminders for what info and forms needed for each section is very helpful to determine if any entries are to be made in that section. I also utilized the "explain this" links on those occasions when I was not sure about particular entry for certain questions. this was also very helpful in deciding what to enter in response or if a response was needed in my case.
What's great about it: several but a particularly good featue is the download of interest and dividends.

Loved TurboTax 2013

The "guide me" option helps you through the maze of tax options. I was referencing the "help" popups to make certain I was understanding the issues correctly. This was enormously helpful to me in preparing this year's tax. Thanks.
What's great about it: Love the guidance that the interview
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Still great software after all these years

I have been using Turbo Tax since the days it was DOS based. I liked it then and still do. Great software. A few glitches were introbuced this year. I am assuming they will get fixed for next year. Some may be related to my use of Windows XP (for the last time since support was dropped).
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to get help.
What's not so great: Software bug rebooted my desktop several times but nothing was lost. Some minor things could be better.

the e-file end was a bit confusing. i am not sure if my state form was e-filed since i do not have any positive income transferred from my federal form. i was under the impression it had gone through until i was asked again to e-file after the charge for the service appeared. confused?
What's great about it: step by step questions easy to understand and help sections informative.
What's not so great: because i do not have much of an income i got confused near the end. do no know if my state form was e-filed.

Peace of Mind

This year I found some areas a little hard to find, i.e., professional dues. However, the medical part about all the HSA, etc was hard to understand.

even though I couldn't sync with last year it was very easy and painless. I have been using TurboTax for a few years now and would highly recommend it.
What's great about it: very easy step by step
What's not so great: some reason i couldnt sync with last year years turbo tax (probably my fault)
