Have used TurboTax for years. Always enjoyed ease of use. My situation has changed for this tax year and it was difficult to get certain questions answered easily. Will continue to use and have recommended to friends and family.
What's great about it: User friendly, comprehensive

We are a two earner family where one is a small business owner and the other is a W-2 wage earning public servant. It was somewhat difficult at times, sorting out what expenses were and were not deductible for SBO car usage, home office deduction and qualifying vs. non-qualifying business expenses from what was and/or was not deductible for W-2 wage earner.
What's great about it: Easy to Install, Reliable Calculations, User Friendly
What's not so great: Somewhat difficult to navigate for small business owners

My returns were continually rejected with no real advice for how to solve the problem. I paid for filing a state return electronically but then was unable to do.
What's great about it: Asks questions to help me determine responses
What's not so great: Too many printed pages, did not diagnose my problem with the rejection of my returns, charged me for state return filing

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and would't do my taxes any other way. I tell all my friends it"s the only way to do taxes. Fast,easy and back returns are at a click of the mouse.
What's great about it: easy to use and covers everthing I need

Instructions and procedures for filing an amended state return for previous years are confusing. Since I am a lawyer, I think I have an understanding of the subject but yours needs clarification.
What's not so great: Instructions and procedures for filing pervious year amended return are confsing.

If you don't have stocks/funds, TT is the way to. Simple and easy to follow. But if you don't like to read, go to a taxman.
