Not happy that I had to fill out a review in order to file my taxes....and it took more time to find a nickname that wasn't used than it did to fill out my taxes...but the program is good for taxes. :(

Less and less

I had problems in two areas. I could not show the rollover of a lump sum retirement payment to my workplace 401k. It was confusing at first I think it is correct since there were no errors. The second area was retiring and now using my vehicle for personal use only. Used it 11 months on my job this tax year. I remember the best TurboTax software would talk to the user. It would let you know what IRS publications applied to each section or an example of what deduction did or did not apply. It appears TurboTax is providing less and less simplicity each year. Even the life styles questions on Turbo Tax and this survey do not mention retirement which I think is a major life style change.
What's great about it: loved importing deductions i entered all year long
What's not so great: Does not address retirees concerns ver well
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

When I went to deduct items I gave to Goodwill it was difficult to navigate to the Its Deductibel site. I do however like where you can add multiple contributions in one place. Last year I had to make three different entries for Goodwill where this year it was just under different dates.
What's great about it: Easy to go through and enter info
What's not so great: The steps for deducting contributions was changed...not good

Easy but......

Turbo Tax is great for saving the tedium of form prep. Turbo Tax focuses on the ;refund or payment; NEVER on the total amount paid in, which in my case feels staggering.
also, it would be nice to have a 'dependent trace' feature #like Excel# where you could see the form entries for every input you make. i.e. my example, I never could trace my HSA contribution to a deduction from the 8889... didn't build confidence..
What's great about it: form info saved from prior years
What's not so great: process behind the scene is a 'black box' you dont know where the info goes...

Generally good format/process. Upset by exorbitant credit card processing fee.
What's great about it: Pretty simple to follow for the most part
What's not so great: Credit card processing fee, particularly by % of amount owed, is outrageous.
