May try a different program next year.
Spend some of your money fixing the obvious bugs!
The program won't accept an obvious answer! In the old days I would just do an override.

Too easy to get this done. Too easy to file both federal and state.
What's great about it: completely guided me step by step
What's not so great: getting all my paperwork together...lol
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It just does not get any easier!

I'm 60 years old and I've been filing my own taxes since I was 14. I have a lot more items to go through now, but with TurboTax it is actually easier now than it was in 1968. TurboTax does all the heavy lifting. All I have to do is answer the questions and TurboTax takes care of the rest. With TurboTax 100% calculations guarantee and Audit Defense, I have nothing to worry about. This year it actually only took four hours for me to complete my taxes and that included writing this review. Every year I think it can't get any easier, but somehow the folks at TurboTax make it easier.
What's great about it: Asks all the right questions and leads you right through the entire process.
What's not so great: You still have to collect the documents so you can answer the questions.

This is the only tax program I use and that I trust. The Customer Service personal are always knowledgeable and very helpful. I have used Turbo Tax for the last 7 or 8 years.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Still trying to find one

Most troublesome of the past years

Schedule D took way too long to finalize. I had to use the step by step view to accurately enter the information and include the correct data on the appropriate forms.
What's great about it: Has been a good tool but there were some isseus this year
What's not so great: Schedule D
Pros: I bought or sold investments
