Good Program

This is a good program over-all but needs refining for the filing and records printing section. It does not seperate the print for filing and print for records commands. It also pushes for e-filing both returns and is difficult to follow for e-filing Federal and mail filing State.
What's great about it: Navigating the program was fairly easy until the end.
What's not so great: program did not seperate printing for records and mail filing

I've been using this tax preparation program for years, when it was Macintax. I've never had any problems with understanding any of the instructions. I've recommended it to many of my friends.
I like the comparison to the previous year's taxes and the fact that the program gives a visual of the comparison of the previous year's figures as you work so that you can possibly be reminded of a forgotten deduction or form that needs to be downloaded. The overall summary at the end also gives you a good "snapshot" reminder.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use. Walks you through each form and possible deduction step-by-step.
What's not so great: Having to scroll down to the next topic after finishing a section. Very annoying!

I really am throttling on not using turbo tax next year. Like I said the online version is rather quarky and the disk is slightly better but still has software issues. needs "edit" function. it locks you out if you make a mistake from the main easy use menu.
What's not so great: the online version is really quarky. So I tried the disk. Not much better. an "edit" mode needs to be implemented.

I've got a home, business expenses, securities, ... from download of TurboTax to filing the return it was less than 90 minutes ... a breeze!
What's great about it: Ridiculously easy
What's not so great: none

Turbo tax is awesome,I will never use any other program.It is simple to use and it covers any and all of your deductions.Turbo tax rocks!

Outstanding 15 year partnership with TurboTax

Filing with TT has been easy for me over the years. I'll use it again next year.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, and I am confident that the return is accurate.
What's not so great: I am happy with it as is. Although the detail, while necessary, can be a pain in the butt.
