I always help friends with their taxes every year. This is the last year I will use turbo tax. On one of my friend's returns who had the 2009 home buyer credit re-payment , was forced us to enter the date he stopped having it as his home, when we entered the date it said the date had to be in 2013, it was in 2012. We couldn't fix this issue. Very frustrating!
On my taxes I owed state taxes for the first time ever. No explanation on the difference, just watched it go negative $2000 without any explanation. I'm sure the explanation is easy to explain, would of been nice to have something that showed why.
Oh and BTW... having to pick a nickname never used before is annoying too.

What's great about it: Questions are easy to understand
What's not so great: Errors that resulted on the final page
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I truly love using turbo tax

Turbo tax saves me a lot of money, it calculates everything for me. I feel like an expert doing tax return. (no need to be CPA) I also purchased Audit Defense which makes my life at ease. No worries.
What's great about it: Easy to follow detailed instructions which make it easier to complete my taxes and save me a lot of money
What's not so great: can't think right now. I have been using turbo tax since 2002

Excellent Tax Preparation Software

I was very pleased to use Turbo Tax yet again, this makes the 6th straight year and I've been very pleased every time. It's safe, if you're honest and follow the directions, you have no fear of an audit going badly if you're chosen for an audit. I really like this software and recommend it to all my friends and family.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, good explanation of various choices
What's not so great: Could autopopulate things like state sales tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I'm In Love With Turbo Tax

Tax time is usually a very painful and miserable time for my husband and I. We have a Tax Debt for a previous year and therefore, our refunds are never sent to us, rather they are applied to our Tax Debt. Understandable. However, this makes finding out how much of a refund we are due very depressing. We make things even worse by waiting until almost the very last minute to submit our taxes. The stress of printing the forms, preparing the taxes, copying the final returns and forms, and getting them to the PO is always so overwhelming! Not this year! Because I decided to spend the money on Turbo Tax, I was able to prepare and submit our taxes in an afternoon. No arguing, no stress, and we are actually going to sleep together tonight instead of one of us on the couch like most years on the night we finish our taxes! Thank you Turbo Tax for adding peace and tranquility to Tax Time for my husband and I! The price paid for your product is overwhelmingly worth every cent! I am a TT customer for life!
What's great about it: Easy with complete explanations
What's not so great: Can't think of a darn thing! :)

I have all of my taxes going back to 2008 on my old Vista PC. I would like to see some instructions on how to load it on to a new PC. I am not sure if I can install Turbo Tax as a second copy on my new PC. It would be nice to know what to do instead of trying to do ii without knowing what might happen.
What's great about it: I know that I can count on Turbo Tax to speed me through my tax forms without a hitch
What's not so great: I would like to see some shortcuts when you take the full rout through the deductions

You really don't need an expert, unless you have really complicated taxes.
What's great about it: Walked me through every step automatically.
What's not so great: The Federal Government didn't have forms ready, so needed an update!
