Guided approach for a safe landing

Initial process started via web based platform through financial institution but was not the same as the easier purchased hard copy disk to file electronic Federal but do State on paper which is not complicated.
What's great about it: the guided process was easy to navigate and return to for further review

Get's better every year

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 12 years. Every year it takes me less time. I am confident that I have gotten every deduction available, and feel confident that I have gotten an excellent Value.
What's great about it: Easy, accurate, dependable, current
What's not so great: Terminology can be confusing

After many years of using turbotax I am HIGHLY disappointed. Gliches with installing the software, could not find last years files when they were already on the desktop. Disappointed is too weak of a word.

Car depreciation for business was confusing. Other similar deductions were hard to understand. Explanations of these were poor and not very helpful.
In past years I have had no problems but this year it was very confusing in many spots.
What's not so great: There seemed to be a number of questions that the program asked this year that were not well explained.

Turbo Tax is good

Just was a little confused when entering my 1099-B info onto it and it was asking for $30 more to use Premier Instead.
