Disappointed this time around

Overall the program did well but a couple errors tainted the experience. 1: When asking for payment, the software noticed I was getting a refund data from state. It showed the reduction in my state return amount, then said it couldn't allow that because I owed money on the Federal portion of my return. I was forced to pay another way (deduction / credit card). 2. On the 1099B worksheet, line 10a, if checked, and boxes 1b, 1c, 3 and 5 are blank, TurboTax finds that an error and will NOT allow the final transmittal of the Federal form to the IRS. I had to fudge data in box 1b and 3 to get TurboTax to accept the data. This is unacceptable.
What's great about it: imported previous years data without problems, quickly.
What's not so great: A couple errors in programming has caused a drop in rating

What's great about it: Entry of info and ablility to review easy--year to year is great
What's not so great: had problems in January that caused a loop until updates received today

Yay TurboTax!

Only thing I was frustrated with was the lack of an automatic update for the Sales Tax update. In the past, as soon as you opened the program, it would look for updates immediately.

Turbo said state MS could be e-filed. Could not with certain forms - state said online filing only and not CD. Would have like to have know before filing and would like an option to file online after purchasing product since info seemed to be inconsistant

I will try again in the morning and will call if this problem still exists then. This is frustrating. Since Federal was accepted it is NOT my internet connection.
What's great about it: Federal went just fine
What's not so great: State credit card payment has a problem

TurboTax was easy to use. I especially liked its ability to automatically grab W-2 and bank information.
There should be an overview of the steps before beginning. It should specify when to use a zero or blank for null values.
