Excellent Program

I have been using this program for years. It is so easy and it reminds you of deduction that you may have forgotten about.

Incentive Stock Options mishandled by Turbotax

At least 3 extra hours were required to fix Turbotax mistakes in handling Incentive Stock Options. Turbotax needs to ask the proper questions so such returns can be completed in a timely manner.

Turbo tax turbo refund

Turbo Tax walks you through each item on the tax forms and helps you with getting the information you need. The hints are very helpful, if you aren't sure of what the titles mean. Turbo Tax helps find you the most deductions specifying what is allowed and what is not. It computes all the information that you input and checks to be sure it is accurate. There is really not much for you to do as Turbo Tax really does it all for you. I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 4 years and have been very pleased.
What's great about it: easy to follow, helpful hints and clear explanations

This will be my last time to use Turbo Tax. After using your product for the last 5+ years this was the biggest piece of junk on the market.
What's great about it: Finally got it populate forms from within
What's not so great: very slow or non-existent support, very poor form transfer of data

Just filed my returns

Entering information on forms was easy enough but the cost of purchasing an additional State form should include free e-filing.
Other States' tax forms didn't initially import information so it asked me to manually enter information. During error checking the System told me to delete the information I entered because it was being imported.
The claim to Customer support and tax consultants is very questionable in my mind. As stated above I waited for 45 minutes before I finally gave up to ask my question.
I've used Turbo Tax for at least 10 years and I'm now considering switching to software for next years' tax preparation.
What's not so great: Waited for phone help but finally gave up after 45 minutes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

overall found turbo tax quite affective in preparing my taxes covered all aspects of my tax needs.
What's great about it: able to continue where i left off fast processing of info
What's not so great: took some time to load up might have been my pc though

HAD A FEW MOMENTS OF ANXIETY WHEN I COUDNT FILE BECAUSE THE FORMS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. BEEN USING YOUR PRODUCT 10 YEARS, AND NEVER HD DIFFICULTY LIKE THIS YEAR. MY FIRST TIME TO EFILE....AND ITS DFINITELY EASIER!

TurboTax has always been my Federal/State Income Tax preparation tool of choice. I've been required to use other tools in the past, but have always used TurboTax when I could choose.
TurboTax is very straightforward. The interview process is nearly painless. There are a few questions that didn't provide specific enough help for me, but I was able to quickly finish everything. TurboTax even found a few additional dollars that I'd missed!
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, and consistant
What's not so great: Help wasn't always explicit
