the vehicle depreciation section was confusing and did not work.
What's great about it: very organized
What's not so great: was not able to file on=line even though i paid to do so.

Loved the software that it walks you through, but some of the information is not all that user friendly....
What's great about it: line by line, feature by feature walk through
What's not so great: answers are not that clear, help is not that helpful

Tax Reporting Made Easy

Sorry, I don't have any improvements to suggest except keep doing a great job in keeping up with the tax laws and making easy for us common people to do our taxes accurately and feel confident it is done right.
What's great about it: Couldn't do this on my own.
What's not so great: I have to pay taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

1st Time TurboTax User... That was easy!

I've used tax software for years, took a break and had a tax person help us a few times. Realized that it's just easier to do it myself. This year I grabbed TurboTax and away I went. I found the layout of the whole application extermely "user friendly". I might not have a ton of write-offs, but with the number of questions, detailed explanations and the way I was lead through the process it just seamed a lot easier than in the past.

The help I recd when I called in to ask questions was excellent and loved the follow up email afterward so I can file the explanation with my records for future reference.
Great and easy way the everyday person can file their taxes and understand a little more about how it all comes together instead of paying someone else to do it for you.
Especially great for individual filers. Don't know if the same can be said for business and self employed filers.
What's great about it: TT doesn't let you miss anything.
What's not so great: I have to buy it EVERY year.

Not sure if I liked this version. Each year you change for the worst. The earlier versions were much better. Have been a user since 2000. I know you have to pay to file the state return, but wasn't sure if you have to pay to fill the form out if you are doing more than one state form. I didn't remember having to pay in the past.
What's great about it: Transferring previous data is nice
What's not so great: In the earlier versions you could get any form from the dropdown menu not just the forms completed.
