The Long Journey

IRA issue took a total of 2 days and 2.5hrs to solve by Turbo Tax. They tried.
What's great about it: Found an issue
What's not so great: took 4 days to solve

Still the best!

TurboTax has been an exceptional program for my home tax use over the past 17 years (with the exception of one year, with the fatal mistake of charging customers to use the program for more than one return). Flexibility to use guided tour or self selection is a great advantages to pick the topics easily understood or get great help from the tax program. Ease of filing is another great attractive feature.
What's great about it: Simplistic, yet detailed enough to capture every tax scenario
What's not so great: Difficult to find a nit to pick

Excellent as usual

As usual, the process is easy to use and to follow. Questions are easily answered by a click of a button. Only problem I have is that during the interview process of, say, income, you complete a section and then you have to scroll longer and longer down to get to the next section. Any way to streamline this? It's the only thing that is really irritating. Otherwise, I have used TurboTax for over 25 years and it just keeps providing an excellent product.
What's great about it: love the step by step interview process
What's not so great: have to scroll farther & farther down to continue the interview

Truth and Consequences

The Turbo Tax is a good tool. However, I found myself searching and wondering where I should be placing my Medicare Part B payments that I made before I became eligible for Social Security. I was also a little lost on the Capital Gains area as it was the first time having to input a 1099-B input due to company split and stock being split and re-priced with fractions being sold to round to whole units.
What's great about it: Straight forward with good aids for questions.
What's not so great: Left me a little uncertain on what to do with Medicare Part B payments before I started drawing Social Security.
