Quick and Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years already and every time it gets better and easier to use. I am one of those that like to procrastinate and the completing of the forms is simpler and quicker so i always make it. Great product, keep on improving it!
What's great about it: Easy to follow Guide
What's not so great: Multiple reviews, however is better safe than sorry!

Losing ground

I have used Turbo Tax for years. This year, the instructions misled me a few times, causing me to waste time going back to correct entries. The worst example is that I had to go to the IRS website, download a form, fill it out by hand, and mail it to the IRS after e-filing my daughter's federal return this year. The form was quite simple, and the program could easily have taken care of it. In retrospect, all of this might have been unnecessary if I had correctly understood one of the questions in the interview section.
What's great about it: Step-by-step approach is thorough
What's not so great: Instructions have become more ambiguous

Logistics Solved

I have been TurboTax on line customer for years. Our situation changed, so didn't require Home & Business, desired to file using Deluxe.
On line defaulted to Home & Business, so had to contact TurboTax Support, who assigned an incident #.
Called in when prepared and indivdual provided Deluxe download provision, which worked fine.
Representative was very patient with my slow computer connection and made sure I was satisfied that I could continue on my own.

Turbo tax is easy to use! It has been our go to for tax preparation for years! Our oldest daughter is now doing her own taxes using Turbo Tax. She agrees, it's easy to use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Took me through all of the areas I needed.
What's not so great: Hard to find some answers to questions

Turbo Tax Filings

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1989 and each year it gets better and more efficient. Always updated for current IRS rules incorporating the newest law changes so you can feel comfortable knowing it's going to advise you correctly. You can choose to work the forms on your own or let the program guide you through each step. It also takes into account previous year (s) filings when doing history and calculations. Very effective and saves the tax preparer a lot of time and calculations. Excellent program. I don't like that I have to pay an outrageous fee for filing a state return not after purchasing a deluxe copy of Turbo Tax. Unfortunately my state does not have online preparation of your return so to file electronically you have to purchase a program.
What's great about it: Easy. Covers nearly all situations.
What's not so great: Doesn't always calculate estimates correctly.
