Many years always good

We have used Turbo tax for many years. I had to create a schedule c many years ago for additional income I make during the year. The set up was easy and I like the automatic transfer of last years return.
What's great about it: Ease of input. Like the reviews and suggestions for additional deductions
What's not so great: Dislike paying extra to efile my state return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No more dreading it!

I used to dread tax time like the plague until I discovered TurboTax. I've now used it for years and its totally changed my perspective on April 15. Thanks for making it easy, confident, and so helpful!

Had quite a problem returning to an unfinished return. Many times I would return after taking a break or updating software and the software would take me back to the start of my return. The data was saved so I could just pass through but if often wasted time.
What's great about it: Quick, paced well, informative, good value.
What's not so great: Problem returning to your unfinished return.

I've never tried the other vendors' products, but I have no desire to. Turbotax has everything I need year after year. Bravo!
What's great about it: Simple, thorough, did I say simple?
What's not so great: Nothing. Even the brief ads are fine with me.

I've used t't several years now. Even though it's the same computer, TT couldn't find last years return. ok, so I entered the data. then it couldn't compute the sales tax deduction. Really? It might have made a difference between standard deduction and long form, but not much. have to admit my confidence was little shaken that something that obvious wasn't available.
What's great about it: I like being guided.
What's not so great: sales tax for florida 'wasn't available' ... and it's already April
