Not as Good as Past Years

This year the switch from Interview to/from Forms did not work well. I consistently was not returned to where I'd left out and it drove me crazy.
I also found the input screens confusing in a couple of places - NYS income area was unclear what was transferred and what needed to be input - on first go round I wound up with data in my spouse's income and he didn't have NYS income. I found dividends section confusing also at times. There simply wasn't enough info on the screen.
I've been using Turbo Tax for many, many years and was disappointed as I'd never encountered these problems before. Seemed like the product had been rushed and not thoroughly tested.

Easy as Pie

I've been using TurboTax for years. I takes me only about 20 minutes to do my Federal and state taxes with almost all the information imported automatically by the software. It really removes the pain of doing ones taxes.
What's great about it: Easy

One and Done!

This is my 4th year using Turbo Tax -- and the smoothest so far. The program is easy to use and was less time consuming this year. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for some confusing data inputs on the Missouri return.
What's great about it: The federal tax process is easy and detailed explanations are provided. Inputting info once for three separate returns
What's not so great: Some of the particular state details were a bit confusing...

I would recommend this to anyone. Inexpensive and very intuitive. Step by Step makes it possible for anyone to do their taxes.
What's great about it: Makes sure you do not forget anything.

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years to complete my taxes. It's extremely user-friendly, whether you're using it as a recent graduate who's doing their taxes for the first time ever or a new homeowner. Seriously, I've never been disappointed!
