Confusing Issue

In the federal portion of the program it kept telling me that "we" needed to do one more form, which was amending my taxes (program was not specific as to what year (2012 or 2013, nor did it tell me why I needed to do an amendment). I know of no reason why I need to amended any tax return. It kept indicating that the amendment form was not ready and Turbo Tax would notify me of when it was ready. I ignored this and continued to fill out my taxes. Even after updating the program as recommended, that message continued to appear.
What's great about it: 99 percent easy
What's not so great: One confusing issue arose in preparation of my 2013 tax forms

Easy to Follow

Your program is very easy to use and has the information for the average home owner and portfolio user. Excellent job.
What's great about it: Easy to use and program has the information to tell you what everything means.
What's not so great: Give repeat users a price break over new customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got it done

Overall, very satisfied. Been a few years since I did my own taxes. Turbotax made it real easy. Even identified some deductions missed by the tax pro I used last year.
Only disappointment was that Deluxe with state (CD version), did not include a state e-file (cost $25 more).

2013 Turbo Tax

Overall, another fine product. Easy to use and to understand. Used the "guide Me" option and just followed the steps on each page as them came up. Did not have all information the first time. After wards, it was easy to go back to the necessary form top.
One Con was that when printing, the bottom 1/4 of each page was cut off. Tried on two different inkjet printers, same results.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Just followed the instructions on each page.
What's not so great: When printing, the bottom of the page was cut off.

Had some problems getting around the Minimum Required Distribution for a Pension. It kept wanting to process the pension as a 401K withdraw.
I have kids but they are not dependents. Retired.

Ohio / Michigan splits

The Federal product was excellent as usual. Turbotax could improve by looking at the integration of adjacent states for filers who move.
What's great about it: Much easier than doing it by hand, Federal information transfered in.
What's not so great: Integration between Ohio and Michigan Returns could be better. I t seemed like I had to do the allocations twice.

Quality program

Generally I love this program, but when entering more than one form like w-2 or 1099-misc it is easy to miss the small box that lets you add the extra forms and difficult to go back and add them when you realize you missed them. I just think the box should be highlited better to make it more obvious.
What's great about it: Easy to follow for most things
What's not so great: Additional entries could be highlited better, i.e. multiple w-2 forms
