Every year I have trouble with the Foreign Tax credit. My situation is very simple. The Credits come from Mutual funds. But Turbo Tax asks all sorts of questions that I can't answer because the info is not available for me. The mutual funds don't provide it and if you ask, they say no way. It would be very helpful to have a Turbo Tax section for these very simple situations.
What's great about it: Almost everything
What's not so great: Could be more helpful on Foreign Tax Credit

As I stated above the program was excellent and easy to follow... was slightly concerned when e-file did not work but was able to find solution on your question/problem page. good job...!
What's great about it: Easy to understand.
What's not so great: slight snafu with the filing but was able to find out solution since I am using MAC

My Taxes are so simple most of the stuff is irrelevant. You foun me several credits I was not aware of.
What's great about it: simple
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Eases the pain

Easily steps you through the process. Asks good questions. Takes a time consuming task and reduces it to a short day's effort.
What's great about it: Don't have to be an analyst to get your taxes done.

I have used it since 1995 and stayed with it because it meets my expitations. Would like to see comparisions of deductions for people in same tax level like this product did a few years ago

TurboTax is the only program I use to prepare our taxes. I highly recommend it to the intrepid tax preparer.
What's great about it: easy to use, always up to date, catches what I miss
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to go back and delete a form

I used Turbo Tax again this year. As usual, all the subjects or topics I needed to review were available and easy to complete. Taxes are an easy task with this program.
