A personal favorite of mine are the short, easy to understand descriptions about the information that needs to be entered for each phase. And each explanation is presented in regular everyday language for a layman like me!
What's great about it: I love the step by step walkthru that TurboTax takes you thru.
What's not so great: None! Nope, not a one!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Online guidance in preparing forms
What's not so great: My first year filing State tax thru TurboTax - I found it a little confusing earlier, but easier to use this evening.

Successful again. Would be nice if there was a "family overview" type function that would help organize and optimize the data for parents' return and college student working childrens' returns - it gets confusing when they are dependents, who is able to take what education credits, not have to go through all the education and tuition fields twice .
What's great about it: New on Mac, was able to move 2012 tax file from PC to Mac on jump drive, Turbp Tax was able to import all data correctly
What's not so great: AMT questions are difficult to understand.

2013 Turbo Tax: Experience/Opinion Review

Overall the improvements were good and beneficial in making the process easier and clearer to understand. If I had to give it a 1 through 10 rating, I'd give it a solid 8.5.
Additional CON's:
The "back" button didn't always take to the immediate back page, it some times skipped back to the previous section instead.

Suggestion for future:
Add a feature to allow a zoom in or out for the individual screen within the applications.

What's great about it: User friendly, improved help application, and the e-file transmit procedure got a lot easier (no glitches).
What's not so great: Bad questions, 1) "What did you claim last year?" 2) "Was this amount different from last year?"
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
