What's great about it: Helpful all along the way with a click of the Help Icon
What's not so great: Employer contribution (HSA) and HDHP not clearly defined per IRS.

Very easy to follow

Feels good to be able to do all the taxes for the adults in our household. Refunds are fast due to on line filing. Thank you for making tax day more bearable.
What's great about it: easy to follow directions
What's not so great: charging for states when states let you use for free/ will not purchase with state again

I love the step by step process and how I am asked questions to prompt me to try and get the best refund due to me! Turbo Tax makes me feel very confident that I have filed properly.

Very good overall, except for E-Filing glitch

Import of last year's data (from TurboTax 2012) was a great time-saver. The same was true for It's Deductible; it took 5 minutes to import my charitable contributions as opposed to 1-2 hours to type everything in by hand. All other data entry was very easy. I did have to delete one charitable contribution because TurboTax insisted I enter a Califorinia ZIP code. The charity is based in New York and therefore has a New York ZIP code. The other glitch was Validation failure when attempting to E-flie the returns. TurboTax kept saying updates were available, even though I installed all avaliable updates before beginning. Closing and restarting TurboTax cleared that problem and the returns were sent.
What's great about it: Imported data from last year. Easy to make edits.
What's not so great: Charity ZiIP code and E-filing glitches.

Overall, this is a simple program. I have used it for several years. I hate doing my taxes and seem to always wait till the last minute--even when I get a refund. TurboTax makes my bad behavior less stressful.
What's great about it: easy to download and file
What's not so great: lots of irrelevant questions
