TT can't do new spouses or deceased taxpayers

I filed last year as single. This year, I was married filing jointly. TurboTax took me an extra hour at the end just having to deal with 2 so-called "errors": My spouse's birthday was correctly entered by me on the Federal Personal info sheet. But TT kept making me delete it from my state return, saying it couldn't be directly entered there (which I didn't do), and sending me back to the Federal, over an over again. My spouse's state health insurance from had a similar problem -- check a box, uncheck the box, then check it again, then get an error message, etc. I also did my deceased mother's final return. Turbotax could not handle putting in negative numbers on Schedules B and D, as required by law.
What's great about it: Not much this year
What's not so great: TT can't do deceased taxpayer or also new spouse

Make sure that no one is able to access your system and get to my personal information and/or steal my refund. Send information on a regular basis to customers to let them know what steps you are taking to ensure security. of i information

Another easy tax year!

An extremely good tax program which I have relied upon for doing my taxes for many years. Would be lost without it. Thank you.
What's great about it: By using the EASY GUIDE it's hard to get confused when doing a tax return.
What's not so great: The only "bad" thing is when those numbers in the upper left corner remain RED.

Always use Turbo Tax

After doing my own returns for years, it is much easier to answer questions than it is to .... "add line 45 to line 15A, then enter in line 107, whichever is greater, or 0." NONE of that, just answer questions! Only problem, I couldn't compare prior year's return line by line.
What's great about it: Simplifies the process
What's not so great: Comparing years can be hard
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

More awkward than ever. Has not been updated for touchscreen. Should update at the beginning not the end. Very awkward to turn off the auto-import.
