Other than having to print the 48 page return twice and waste ink because it printed in a foreign language/symbols, Turbo Tax is the only way to go.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: printed entire return in different language

Disappointed and frustrated

My spouse and I had to file Married filing seperately this year. Of course, I tried both standard and itemized on both our returns to see what would give us the best refund. When I tried to go back to standard deduction, I became very frustrated when I was only shown a screen that said I had to itemize. Turbo tax should make sure all screens can be changed, not make decisions according to what the software thinks. The help questions were not helpful. I don't think I will suggest Turbo Tax to others ever again.

Disappointed with the Check for Updates "feature": Turbo Tax displayed a message stating that not all of the forms were ready when I attempted to file. I had to click on "Check for Updates" in order for it to go to the Intuit site to get the latest forms, and then wait while the "progress" bar indicated nothing was happening for half an hour. I had to kill the process via Windows Task Manager. Intuit Help Site indicated others faced this problem and recommended manually updating the software by downloading a patch. The instructions erroneously stated that after double clicking the downloaded software, that I was to follow the instructions. No instructions displayed. TurboTax still indicated that the forms were missing. I resolved the problem by rebooting the PC (which was probably in the instructions that never displayed).
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TRANSFERRING INFO

FROM NOW ON WHY NOT JUST TRANSFER ALL DEDUCTIONS FROM THIS YEAR (2013) TO NEXT YEARS TAX FORMS AND JUST LET THE TAXPAYER EDIT THE CHANGES. THIS WOULD SAVE TIME AND POTENTIAL ERRORS

Done, looks good

This is 3rd or 4th year using Turbo Tax; It is quite thorough and definitely more comprehensive than any tax prep that I ever had done by a tax prep person.
What's great about it: Flows along nicely
What's not so great: Where's the SAVE button for when I take a break? and why cant I do a Print Screen? It would help me spend less time.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
