How much easier could it be...

Easy to understand step by step format and when you have a question it gives you an easy to understand answer. If by chance you still don't understand, it gives you oonline help or an 800 number for that person to person contact some of us need. Like I said, "How much easier could it get."
What's great about it: Easy to use. Great step by step format. Answers your questions so you understand.
What's not so great: None at this point...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 TurboTax Review

I've been using TurboTax for 15 years, and I'll never complete my tax return through any other means. TurboTax is very easy to use.
What's great about it: So easy and so thorough to complete tax return.
What's not so great: None

Also like the automatic transfer of information from previous return. TurboTax walks me through the whole filing process and has all of the information that I need to understand the process. I recommend TurboTax to all of my friends and family.
What's great about it: I've used TurboTax for many years. Easy to use. I trust it. It has a consistent appearance/navigation from year to year
What's not so great: Costs too much to e-file state return. Would have done so if less espensive.

What's not so great: HAVING TO GET SO DETAILED DUE TO THE IRS

Another Year Gone

Good as usual but I could have used a little more help with retirement stuff. Would be great if there was a big question at the beginning that would have left unused and often confusing stuff. For example: I went on disability this year and I am single with no children. I would have loved bypassing the stuff that didn't apply.
What's great about it: quick and clean
What's not so great: confusion with stocks and 401K a little more info

Sooo Many Annoyances

End User Interface and program logic can be improved significantly!!!
When Turbo Tax asks you to enter data, after you input the data and press the return key, it should move you to the next field or next screen, not wait for you to click "Continue"... mainframe programming mentality.
When I go back into topics to check on some info, TurboTax did not remember the info I previously entered and starts from 0. Not fun having to reinput data. Previously entered data should be displayed and I should have the option of changing, and should not need to reinput the data again.
All Info from all prior years and forms needs to be transferred to the current year's returns. So far, every year, Turbo Tax asks me for amounts on prior forms and lines. You have that info, put it in the form for me.
Turbo Tax did not identify all forms I need to file. I have minor children with passive investment income < $2000 and every year I have to look for the form to make the election to take their income into my return. Turbo Tax should do identify this and do it automatically.
There are many other smaller annoyances, but if you can fix these big ones first, I would be soooo happy!!! My guess is that you will not make these changes and I'll see these annoyances again next year. There has been so many times I have thought I would be much happier preparing my taxes manually, but the only reason I come back to TurboTax is because of all my prior data locked up in your program.
