As usual TurboTax was easy to use and walk through. This is my 6th year of using TurboTax and each year it gets easier, from transfering information for other files and importing information from employers.

In general, I love the software and would recommend to to anyone, and have recommended it to my friends.

What's not so great: the city return is a bit off.

Makes a tough job easier

I've been a Turbo Tax user for several years and, every year, I feel comfortable that our tax returns are done correctly. It's a great feeling!
What's great about it: Walks me through everything
What's not so great: Needed a little more explanation for some items

Too Good To Be True ... But It Is!

The entire process was a pleasant experience. Much better than going to a tax preparer or sitting at the kitchen table wondering if we qualified for credits and/or listed all income we should have. Everything had an easy to understand explanation where it was crystal clear if we needed to submit information for a certain area or not. Explanations were easily understood and I truly believe anyone would be able to complete the Intuit Turbo Tax Service forms provided. We have already recommended it to others.
What's great about it: Ease and speed of entire process
What's not so great: Nothing - Everything was very simple to understand
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to fill out & file

This is by far one of the easiest programs I've ever used in my 30+ yrs filing taxes, both professionally & personally.
What's great about it: simple explanations & double checks
What's not so great: none

As a first time user I'm mostly pleased

After many friends recommended Turbo Tax to me, I decided to try it. It was very easy to complete both my Federal and DC taxes. I thought it was very thorough and the explanations were very clear. It was simple to go back to change information. However, I couldn't get a clean printed copy of my forms. The top or bottom half of several lines on several pages didn't print. I printed 3 copies of the forms and they all came out bad. I printed another document to see if the problem was with my printer, and that document came out fine. I then had trouble transmitting my taxes. I had to shut off my computer and go back to the menu and try again. Eventually my taxes were transmitted. So overall, I'd give this product and experience a 4.5 out of 5.
What's great about it: Very easy to complete tax forms
What's not so great: Trouble printing and transmitting tax forms
