Great product

I've used TurboTax for over 5 years and it fills the bill for virtually every tax situation for my family. It greatly reduces the time to complete and file, plus very good "did you forget..." items. I highly recommend it, and will continue using it.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand, especially for state taxes

Love Turbo Tax, just include the one free state download with the deluxe edition again!!!!!!
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Did not like the fact that I had to pay for state download with the deluxe edition this year, never had to do that
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Does not work 100% on a Mac

I've been a Turbo Tax user for many years and was hoping to be able to do my taxes this year with the same convinience using a Mac platform. After trying to take the live updates, I would get an error saying "An error ocurred in retrieving update information". After having to uninstall and reinstall Turbo Tax many times, clearing the cache and trying to take the updates another 4 times I could not finish doing the taxes on the Mac, as forms 2106-EZ, 8283, 3903, 1040, 8863, 4562, 8283 and Schedule A were still missing. I had to resort to doing the taxes on a PC as I couldn't get it to work on the Mac :-(
This is the only reason I'm rating the product a 4. Shouldn't I have had a work PC that is Windows based, I would never had been able to do my taxes, which then would put the product ratings to a zero.
It would be fantastic if you could fine tune the product to run seemlessly on a Mac.

What's not so great: Doesn't work on a Mac the same way it works on a Windows platform

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 17 years for both
our personal taxes and the taxes for my daughter and family.
I have never, I repeat never, had a problem, audit, question from the IRS, etc. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.

Liked the product for the most part but I will have to consider next year whether I want to pay twice to file my taxes. I already paid for the product (to pay federal taxes) & then I have to pay a 2d time to file my state taxes. This just seems like overcharging.
What's great about it: fast & fairly user friendly
What's not so great: Did not like having to pay extra for state return

I was procrastinating doing my taxes. As usual.
Even watched the Master's Golf tournament trying
to delay the inevitable.
