Great Product. I say this even though my return is a fairly simple
one. I had only a few days to complete my return and your product made it a almost painless experience

Have used TurboTax for several years and have always been satisfied with results.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions makes filing easy
What's not so great: Wish you would offer free state filing for one state.

got done fast

just finished so mostly glad to be over. however i find that it still works best for me to do my own work on this system. no very excited about this year being the first one with MAC version. However that might be me more than Turbo. getting downloads was a bit of a pain to figure out. There are also way too many accurances where it asks for info on a form number but no loop to take you to that form so you know what the heck it's asking for. mostly on state though.
What's great about it: leads me through many subjects would miss
What's not so great: does not explain statements enough

Method used to figure out who a dependent is and why or why not is garbled in mystery and not clear. Had to contact an accounting relative to indicate how to answer questions regarding our 22 yr-old son.
What's great about it: Takes you through the process methodically.
What's not so great: Info regarding dependents is difficult to understand.

When entering the initials of each individual at the beginning of the Personal Information section, tell the user not to enter a period after their initial - can cause errors later on for State returns.

more cumbersome than last year if possible

It takes too long. every page you have to scroll down to the botton over the same info as last page plus 1 line at bottom. This is crazy.. I spent hours figuring up all my medical for a deduction, then it gave me the standard deduction anyway. There needs to be a quick page at the beginning to enter estimates and tell you whether you need to enter everything or take the standard deduction.
Also every year it wants me to buy and file state return when My interest and dividend income are already entered and it's not enough to require filing. needs to go back to where you left off if you leave instead of going over everything you've entered so far.
