In 2012 TurboTax failed to cathc entry of Judith's FICA and I was required to pay penalty and the excess FICA for her. In 2013 I was unable to transmit Federal return but state of MN dod transfer.
What's great about it: Fewer problems than 2012 Tax Year but could be better
What's not so great: Failed to transmit Feder electronically but did succeed with state (MN)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy

Turbo Tax is easy to use and much less expensive than hiring an accountant. We had an accountant do our taxes 3 years ago. It cost us considerably more than using TurboTax and we didn't come out any better on our taxes! I'd rather do it myself!

Easy to use

Been using TurboTax for a few years now & I really like it. The last time we used the "other" guy, we ended up in the hole. What we got back from Fed went to state, city & them! Plus a little out of savings. So with the cost & how easy TurboTax is............ :-) Let your hamster fill in the blanks :-)
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: can't think of any

Suggestion:check for updates at setup time not at end.Also think about a voice to text interphase;lousy typist!
What's great about it: Great user experience and intuitive (plain english) word usage
What's not so great: Just a little bit confusing with the sales tax data entry due to a message that IRS form was not ready

Works well to file, but sometimes I don't understand the "why" of a certain number without a lot of research.
What's great about it: easy to input
What's not so great: don't always understand the why of where it puts numbers

Overall, a great tool. Much faster than self-preparation. Comfortable that chance for error is low.
What's great about it: It's deductible for charity donation values and easy transfer from last year
What's not so great: Still a little difficult to get from an "answer" to the line on the tax form it is responsive to

2013 Taxes Review

Was able to Load but had trouble running the prog.. Had problems Navigating to form 2106(use app for travel expenses)
What's great about it: Good about gathering Income and e-filing
