taxes made easy

i used to schedule a time with a cpa and pay him alot for something turbotax lets me do by myself and for 1/4 of the price.
What's great about it: explained everything and walked you through everything
What's not so great: none

Wonderful product except for having to pay to file state return
What's great about it: So easy to use and understand. Have used this product for at least 8 years
What's not so great: Do not like having to pay to e-file state return

Making my life easier during tax time.....

Overall I had a good experience doing my taxes with TurboTax. The user interface is relatively simple, straightforward and easy to navigate. The guided tool works well but sometimes you are dropped out to a menu and then decide the next section to review. Deluxe version is fine for filers with relatively straightforward tax situations. I would prefer some more interactive help guides as well as video clips with advice. This was something you did in the past but eliminated this because of cost.
In conclusion TurboTax did make my life a little bit easier this year.
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, and easy to navigate through sections for the typical tax filer without complicated tax situati
What's not so great: The guided interaction tool sometimes drops you out to the menu. Would also prefer more interactive help sections
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 done at last!

First time I needed to file a state return, and found that some of the info provided relative to N.C. was not as helpful as I would have presumed to be provided by Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Really liked the federal information
What's not so great: Did not understand some NC state info;
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved
