I wait late into the tax season, so that all the bugs are found and fixed with updates. this is not a problem for me.
What's great about it: great product for step by step tax work
What's not so great: none that i can find.

It was super easy and it looked for all possible tax credits to maximize our tax return. I'll never let anyone else do my taxes but turbo tax.

Clear and easy to understand. Very quick to respond. Compatable with last years version and newest IE upgrades. Well worth the money.

I've been using this program for several years. Have used others and found this one to be the best for my needs and ease of use.

Still need KY question about Fed $ from Mutuals

I have continued to complain that there is no question in your script for KY state tax about money from Federal Government items included in incomes from mutual funds, which KY form clearly states is tax free. You have at least now put in a place to enter it, on the 1099's but if you aren't aware of it you wouldn't know to enter it. So your claim to get the best refund is obviously not true in this regard.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Still no questions about Federal income included from mutual funds.

When I opened TT to begin, it did not automatically give me the option to update my program.
While doing my 2012 Taxes, I inadvertantly downloaded information from my UBS account TWICE. There should be a warning when this happens.
What's great about it: Calculations worksheets
What's not so great: Need more explanations/warninngs
