So Easy!!!

Love using Turbo Tax! It's an easy and painless way to deal with the return process. Other companies may do it for you, but the cost is extreme in comparison. Turbo Tax will walk you through it every little step of the way. Thanks again T.T.!!!!
What's great about it: quick and easy navigation through the return process.
What's not so great: I have nothing negative to say.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Light on 1099Q and 1098T, otherwise nearly perfect

Turbo Tax software Help helped very little in understanding if the parent or the student should file the 1099Q and 1098T. I had to browse many online tax forums to find guidance. Do better next year and I'll add that 5th star back.

Simple and Easy

Overall easy to use, but when you have more complicated questions it is sometimes hard to find the answer without having a person to talk to. Good if you don't have complicated taxes.

TurboTax - Implicit Trust?

TurboTax is a great tool for Do it yourself tax preparers and makes things a lot easier no doubt, but some time (like in Capital Gain worksheets or AMT worksheets for example) the calculations can get complicated and daunting leading one to just simply trust that the program is doing the right thing. While that is the case most of the time, there are instances when interpretation is a little open and depending on what you make calculations can take a different turn. Hence some logical, presence of mind is required to make sure TTax is not going off tangentially! Case in hand was my experience with the 1099-Q form handling this year?
Overall could not live without TurboxTax, that's for sure

Turbo Tax 2014

I have been using TurboTax for a number of years but this is the 1st time that I had to research some of the requests the program was making. Also quite often when I clicked for "learn more" I did get a clear answers and I was still guessing.
If I knew I was going to have the opportunity to evaluate and suggest things to improve the program for next year I might have written down specific steps and areas where I had problems or questions.
In view of this ..... the 1st thing I would suggest a statement that advises the user there is an opportunity to suggest improvements for next year.
What's great about it: The program was quick loading and I really had no problem moving step to step.
What's not so great: Unlike previous years it wasn't built for a novice.

There needs to be a bullet explanation of what must be done after all of the information is entered. How to finish with printing, paying, etc.

What's not so great: I didn't know what some of the terms ment.
